What are our intensive tuition courses?
During each school holiday, we run intensive sessions every week. They are 12 hours long and are spread across three, four-hour sessions. Each child gets a course folder to work through depending on their focus. You’ll also receive a report each night detailing how they are getting on. They can be used either as a standalone to boost knowledge in a particular area or as an added extra alongside weekly tuition.
Who are they for?
The courses are suitable for all ages. You can choose between year group tuition, 11 Plus or GCSE, depending on where your child needs help. Your child will be able to work through their folder at a pace that suits them, as well as getting additional support in any areas they may find challenging. If they already attend weekly lessons, the intensive course can complement the work they’re already doing.
Why do our holiday tuition courses help?
Attending one of our intensive tuition courses will help to build your child’s confidence in the subjects they are working on.
11+ children are exposed to many different types of English, maths, verbal and nonverbal reasoning and the questions are presented in a variety of ways, from teaching exercises to exam question practice. We have many 11+ courses available, and the content for each one is different building experience and confidence.
GCSE students need study skills and exam question practice. They also need a quiet place to work away from the distractions of electronic devices or younger siblings. Our GCSE students drive their course content and as they approach their exams they can really focus on the topics they need.
