Exam Dates for the Slough Consortium
The examination for the selective tests are usually held within the first week of November. The results for these tests are given in the first week of December.
Exam Types
The Reading tests consist of Verbal Reasoning and Nonverbal Reasoning papers which are standard version for Kendrick Girls. The Reading School set English, Verbal or Nonverbal and mathematics. All papers are set by NFER. The eleven plus test types for Slough are different. Please look below in the 'General information' section for more details.

General Information
There are a total of six grammar schools in Berkshire, with Slough having its own consortium which is made up of Langley Grammar, Herschel Grammar and St Bernards Catholic Grammar School. The grammar schools in Reading have different tests to the ones in Slough. The Kendrick Girls Grammar school test is taken in November. This consists of Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning (both set by NFER). They are both standard version. The Reading School exams consist of Verbal or Nonverbal Reasoning, English and a mathematics test.
